A Journey Through Space and Time

The show tells the story of young Alana, who must embark on a mysterious journey through different countries and eras in search of the legendary Companions of Light. These extraordinary individuals carry a special light within their hearts.

Only by uniting their powers within herself can Alana fulfill her true destiny and save the world from the looming threat of cold and darkness …

An Extraordinary Anniversary

Europe’s largest horse show looks back on a quarter-century of emotion and unforgettable moments. What began 25 years ago in Berlin as a simple revue of individual acts has evolved into an impressive all-encompassing theatrical experience. CAVALLUNA combines “Cavallo”, the Italian word for horse, and “Luna”, the moon – capturing the passion for horses and the magic of storytelling.

To mark this special occasion, “Companions of Light”, one of the most successful adventures, returns to the stage. The story premiered in 2017 and remains one of the most popular shows of all time. Ten years later, it is being reimagined in a new production that successfully blends nostalgia with a modern interpretation.

Our Stars on Stage

Lighting, effects, costumes and stage sets – all these impressive show elements put the true heart of CAVALLUNA in the spotlight: its four-legged stars. More than 50 horses delight audiences alongside their riders with extraordinary choreography and unique talents. They include elegant Arabians, majestic Friesians and spirited Andalusians. Breathtaking trick riders deliver thrills, enchanting liberty performances create moving moments, and cheeky miniature ponies bring plenty of smiles.

They are joined by an outstanding dance ensemble, whose elegance, energy and expressiveness enrich the spectacular scenes and bring Alana’s story to life.
