What happens with our newsletter with your data?

(1) With your consent you can subscribe to our newsletter, with which we inform you about our current interesting offers. The advertised goods and services are named in the declaration of consent.

(2) For the registration to our newsletter we use the so-called Double-opt-in-process. This means that we will send you an e-mail to the entered e-mail address after your registration, in which we request you for confirmation that you wish the sending of the newsletter. If you do not confirm your registration within 30 days your information will be deleted automatically. In addition, we will respectively store your used IP addresses and times of the registration and confirmation. The purpose of the process is to prove your registration and, if applicable, to be able to clarify a possible misuse of your personal data.

(3) Mandatory and voluntary details are above under “We collect data from you. Which? From where? For how long? And may we do this at all?” and are explicitly marked in the registration form.

(4) You can revoke your consent to the sending of the newsletter and cancel the newsletter at all times. You can declare the revocation by clicking on the link provided in each newsletter e-mail, via this form of the website (https://www.cavalluna.com/en/kundenservice/newsletter/unsubscribing), by e-mail to datenschutz@apassionata.com or by a message to the contact data stated in the masthead.

(5) We would like to point out to you that we will evaluate your user behaviour with the sending of the newsletter. For this evaluation the sent e-mails contain so-called Web-Beacons or Tracking-Pixel that represent one-pixel-image files, which are stored on our website. For the evaluations we link the data stated in Para. 3 and the Web-Beacons with your e-mail address and an individual ID.

With the thus acquired data we create a user profile in order to customize the newsletter to satisfy your individual interests. We record hereby when you read our newsletter, which links you click on in this newsletter and conclude your personal interests from this. We link these data with actions carried out by you on our website.

You can object to this tracking at all times by clicking on the separate link, which is provided in each e-mail, or by informing us via another form of contact. The information is stored as long as you have subscribed to the newsletter. After an unsubscription your data will remain stored. We will delete the data as soon as you request their deletion by e-mail to datenschutz@apassionata.com or by a message to the contact data stated in the masthead.

How do we use Google Analytics?

(1) This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, Text files, which are stored on your computer and which enable an analysis of the use of the website by you. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is as a rule transmitted to a server of Google in the USA and stored there. In the event that the IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will however be previously abbreviated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Treaty on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a server of Google in the USA and abbreviated there. By order of the operator of this website Google will use this information in order to evaluate your use of the website to compile reports on the website activities and to provide further services associated with the website use and the internet use towards the website operator.

(2) The IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics will not be aggregated with other data of Google.

(3) You can prevent the storage of the cookies by a corresponding setting of your browser software; however we would like to point out that in this case you will, if applicable, not be able to use all functions of this website in full. You can in addition prevent the entry of the data generated by the cookie and which refer to your use of the website (incl. your IP address) to Google as well as the processing of these data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

(4) This website uses Google Analytics with the extension “_anonymizeIp()”. IP addresses are further processed in an abbreviated form hereby, a personal reference can thus be excluded. Insofar as the data collected about you enables a personal reference this will be excluded immediately and the personal data will thus be deleted immediately.

(5) We use Google Analytics in order to analyse the use of our website and to be able to improve it regularly. Through the acquired statistics we can improve our offer and design it more interesting for you as a user. For the exceptional cases, in which personal data are transmitted to the USA, Google has submitted itself to the EU-US Privacy Shield, www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.

How do we use Matomo?

1) This website uses the web analysis service Matomo in order to analyse the use of our website and to be able to regularly improve it. Through the acquired statistics we can improve our offer and design it more interesting for you as a user.

(2) Cookies are stored on your computer for this evaluation. The thus collected information is exclusively stored by the responsible party on its server in Germany. You can set the evaluation by the deletion of existing cookies and the prevention of the storage of cookies. If you prevent the storage of the cookies we would like to point out that you will, if applicable, not be able to use this website in full. The prevention of the storage of cookies is possible by the setting in your browser.

(3) This website uses Matomo with the extension “AnonymizeIP”. This way IP addresses are further processed in an abbreviated form, a direct ability to make reference to a person can thus be excluded. The IP address transmitted by your browser by means of Matomo will not be aggregated with other data collected by us.

(4) The Matomo programme is an Open-Source-Project. You will receive information of the third party provider relating to data protection under matomo.org/privacy-policy/.

How do we use social media plugins?

(1) We currently use the following social media plugins: Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Instagram, PInterest. We use the so-called Double-click-solution in this case. This means when you visit our site initially no personal data are principally forwarded to the provider of the plugins. You can recognise the provider of the plugin by the marking on the box above its first letters or the logo. We give you the possibility via the button to communicate directly with the provider of the plugin. Only if you click on the marked field and activate it hereby will the plugin provider receive the information that you have called the corresponding website of our online offer. Moreover, the data stated under Para. 3 will be transmitted. In the case of Facebook and Xing, according to information of the respective provider in Germany, the IP address will be anonymised immediately after collection. By the activation of the plugin personal data from you are thus transmitted to the respective plugin provider and stored there (at US providers in the USA). As the plugin provider carries out the data collection in particular via cookies, we recommend that you delete all cookies through the safety settings of your browser before clicking on the grey highlighted box.

(2) We neither have any influence on the collected data and data processing activities, nor are we aware of the full scope of the data collection, the purposes of the processing, the storage deadlines. No information is available to us either regarding the deletion of the collected data by the plugin provider.

(3) The plugin provider stores the data collected in relation to you as a usage profile and uses these for purposes of advertising, market research and/or to design its website suitable for the needs. Such an evaluation shall in particular be carried out (also for users who are not logged in) in order to present advertising suitable for the needs and in order to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have a right of objection against the formation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact the respective plugin provider in order to exercise this right. Via the plugins we offer you the possibility to interact with the social networks and other users so that we can improve our offer and design it more interesting for you as a user.

(4) The data transfer is carried out irrespective whether you possess an account at the plugin provider and are logged in there. If you are logged into the plugin provider, your data collected in our company will be allocated directly to your account existing at the plugin provider. If you press the activated button and e.g. link the site, the plugin provider will also store this information in your user account and will publicly share it with your contacts. We recommend that you regularly log-out after using a social network, in particular however before activation of the button as you can therefore avoid an allocation to your profile at the plugin provider.

How do we use YouTube videos?

(1) We have integrated YouTube videos into our online offer, which are stored on www.YouTube.com and can be played directly from our website. These are all integrated in the “extended data protection mode”, i.e. that no data are transmitted about you as a user to YouTube if you do not play the videos. Only when you play the videos will the data stated in Para. 2 be transmitted. We have no influence on this data transmission.

(2) Through the visit to the website YouTube will receive the information that you have called the corresponding sub-site of our website. Moreover, the data stated under Para. 3 are transmitted. This is carried out irrespective whether YouTube makes a user account available, through which you are logged in, or whether no user account exists. If you are logged into Google your data will be allocated directly to your account. If you do not wish to have the allocation to your profile at YouTube you must log-out before activating the button. YouTube will store your data as usage profiles and use these for purposes of advertising, market research and/or to design its website suitable for the needs. Such an evaluation shall in particular be carried out (even for users who are not logged in) in order to provide advertising suitable for the needs and in order to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. How do we use Google Maps?

How do we use Google Remarketing?

Besides Adwords Conversion we use the application Google Remarketing. This is a process with which we would like to address you once again. Through this application our advertisements can be faded into you after a visit to our website during your further use of the internet. This is carried out by means of cookies stored in your browser, through which your usage behaviour when visiting various websites is recorded and evaluated by Google. Therefore, your prior visit to our website can be determined by Google. The data collected within the scope of the remarketing will not be aggregated by Google with your personal data, which are if applicable stored by Google, according to its own information. In particular according to Google a pseudonymisation will be used during the remarketing.

Do we guarantee sufficient data security?

We maintain current technical measures in order to guarantee the data security, in particular relating to the protection of your personal data against risks with data transmissions as well as against knowledge being obtained by third parties. These are accordingly and respectively adjusted to the current status of technology.

How do we use cookies on this website?

Cookies are further stored on your computer with the use of the website. Cookies are small text files, which are stored and allocated to the browser used by you on your hard disk and through which certain information flows to the body, which sets the cookie (in this case therefore us). Cookies cannot carry out any programmes or transmit viruses onto your computer. They serve to on the whole make the internet offer more user-friendly and more effective. We delete Google Analytics cookies after 14 months. Transient cookies are deleted directly when you leave the site.

Which rights do you have?

You have several rights. You have the right to request information about the personal data processed in relation to your person as well as to rectification or deletion, to limitation to the processing, to objection against the processing as well as to data portability. You further have the possibility to lodge a complaint about us at the supervisory authority that is responsible for us.
