THE MAGNIFICENT OPEN-AIR SUMMER SHOW

CAVALLUNA Kids returns with "Eine Show steht Kopf!" (German-language) returns to Munich once again! Peppered with lots of humour, fascinating riding interludes, colourful costumes and rousing show music. In a summery atmosphere, Europe's most popular horse show presents a programme tailored to families on the grounds of the CAVALLUNA Park in Munich-Fröttmaning. The heart-warming show tells the story of Nina, who, together with her friends Sponti and Ben, gets lost in the annual summer show of the CAVALLUNA Horse Academy, where the three of them unexpectedly have to take over the roles of the main characters who have fallen ill. With no experience and clumsy, they manoeuvre their way through the scenes on and backstage and when Nina then also falls in love with the prince of the story, the rescue mission becomes an almost impossible task. Will the three friends manage to bring the CAVALLUNA show to a successful end after all?

CAVALLUNA UNDER THE OPEN SKY

Especially for this show, a theatre open on all sides will be installed in the CAVALLUNA Park, which protects against most weather conditions and at the same time offers the unique flair of an open-air show. Enjoy with the whole family an unprecedented horse show experience with high horsemanship, breathtaking stunts, smart comedy and countless special effects in a crazy story about the world of the new CAVALLUNA Horse Academy. Immerse yourself and your family in the colourful show world of CAVALLUNA!

POPULAR STARS AND HORSE BREEDS

From elegant dressage horses to funny donkeys and adorable ponies: the audience can look forward to many talented four-legged friends. The exceptional artist Sylvie Willms enchants with her unique relationship and complete trust with her horses during her free dressage. Laury Tisseur, known for the spectacular discipline of the Hungarian Post, will amaze the audience and Carlos Román will ensure hilarious laughter with his witty comedy interludes. And of course, Bartolo Messina's ever-popular and sugar-sweet mini ponies cannot be missing from such a show!

Frequently asked questions about
the summer show in Munich
  • Who is the show "CAVALLUNA Kids - Eine Show steht Kopf!" suitable for?

This show format is a programme specially made for families and, as usual, relies on the popular combination of horsemanship, performance and music. The show combines spectacular, funny and touching moments and, through the interactive involvement of parts of the audience, is the very best entertainment for young and old.

  • How long does the show last?

The show programme lasts approx. 90 minutes and is performed without an intermission.

  • Is there protection from rain or strong sun?

A generous tent roof - the CAVALLUNA Magic Sky - ensures that the shows can take place in any weather. High demands on quality and safety, combined with a flexible system that can be set up and dismantled quickly, were the basic requirements to be met. With the CAVALLUNA Magic Sky, an elegant and high-quality roofing concept was found which, thanks to the flexibility of the construction system, also ensures the perfect atmosphere and the best entertainment in an outdoor arena. Nevertheless, you should adapt your clothing to the weather conditions on the day of your show visit.

  • Is the CAVALLUNA Park open again as a horse theme park?

The CAVALLUNA Park, as it was operated in the past, will remain closed for the time being. It will be open for the duration of the CAVALLUNA Kids Summer Show from 28.07. to 13.08., but only as a venue for the open-air show. We are currently working on a new concept for the park and want to reopen it as a horse leisure park in the future.

  • When does admission start on site?

Admission to the grounds is 90 minutes before the start of the show. Admission to the CAVALLUNA Magic Sky is 30 minutes before the start of the show.

  • Can I bring my dog or other pet to the performance?

    Animals are generally not allowed.

  • What discounts are available?

Children up to 4 years of age are admitted free of charge without entitlement to a seat (lap children). Children from 5 to 12 years receive a 5 euro discount on the normal price of the respective category. Severely disabled persons who are dependent on an escort (characteristic 'B') receive a companion free ticket and pay the full price for the ticket themselves. The companion free tickets cannot be booked online, but only via the ticket hotline (01806 - 73 33 33). The simultaneous granting of several discounts per ticket is excluded.

  • What is the age limit for attending the show alone?

Due to the protection of minors and for insurance reasons, children and young people may only attend the show alone from the age of 16. If children and young people are under 16 years of age, they may only be admitted with a parent or guardian or in the company of an adult with written authorisation from a parent or guardian.

  • Am I allowed to take pictures or film at the shows?

In principle, we are happy to receive beautiful pictures or videos - also uploaded to Facebook, Instagram or other social networks. However, it is particularly important to us that the visit to the show remains a very special experience for every spectator. Therefore, it is not permitted to bring photo equipment or to take pictures with SLR cameras or other cameras with interchangeable lenses. The same applies to filming with professional cameras (e.g. camcorders). Tablets (e.g. iPad or Samsung GALAXY Tab) are also not permitted on the grounds of CAVALLUNA Park Munich. Your recordings could disturb the guests in your immediate vicinity.
Please also note that photography is only permitted for private, not commercial purposes. Representatives of the press can obtain accreditation from our PR team.
It is also essential to keep the flash switched off so as not to frighten the horses.

  • Is there food and drink available on site?

Savoury and sweet snacks (e.g. bockwurst, focaccia, chips) and drinks are available for purchase on site.

  • How are the horses stabled?

The property has large boxes according to the most modern standards and numerous exercise areas. The stables are located in sheltered areas so that there are retreats for all animals. For training and meaningful exercise of the horses, there are several halls, lunging areas and outdoor arenas. Of course, the welfare of the horses is very important to us. For this reason, we work very closely with the Munich Veterinary Office as an independent authority to ensure that all the conditions planned for the horses at the location comply with the German Animal Welfare Act and that optimum husbandry is guaranteed. Of course, veterinary care is also provided on site. The care of all animals is in the hands of expert staff and, of course, the teams themselves.
