The Italian Giona family has been thrilling CAVALLUNA audiences for years with breathtaking show acts – and a very special highlight are always Alex Giona's touching liberty numbers. As if by magic, he guides his herd of free horses through the arena and communicates with them without touching them, using bridles or ropes. He has worked on his connection with them over the years with a great deal of patience and now the animals trust him one hundred per cent in every situation.

While his children tend to show off their talents in the Hungarian post or the doma vaquera, Alex has dedicated himself entirely to liberty dressage and once again allows the audience to share in the intimate connection between him and his horses in CAVALLUNA Kids. His role as a magical hermit fits perfectly with the free and powerful herd that gallops majestically around him in the arena.
