Horse whisperer – Bartolo Messina @ CAVALLUNA

Audience favorite Bartolo

For many years, Bartolo Messina has thrilled the audience with touching freedom trainings and the invisible bond between him and his horses. For the first time, the sympathetic Italian has demonstrated his exceptional talent on the show in 2014/2015. With a colorful mixed herd of horses and an impressive freedom he conquered the hearts of the audience within seconds and amazed them in the biggest arenas in Germany and Europe. Since then, Bartolo and his team have become part of the great CAVALLUNA family.

His horses belong to the family

Bartolo, whose home is the beautiful island of Ischia, has dedicated its entire life to noble animals. He is home to around twenty show horses at his farm in sunny Italy. At the stud farm, which bears the name “Aragonas Arabians”, everyone lives for the beautiful four-legged friends: friends, acquaintances and family members rarely miss their evening training sessions. Above all, his two sons did it to the horses. The first-born, Antonio (6), is meanwhile a little star himself: With nine mini-shettys, he presents the audience with a small freedom dressage during joint performances with his father. Leonardo (2) is in no way inferior to his big brother – even before he could walk, he was already sitting with radiant eyes and no fear of contact on Bartolo’s horses.

Bartolo Messina at CAVALLUNA

In the show “CAVALLUNA – Legend of the desert” (Legende der Wüste) Bartolo Messina shows an impressive freedom training with eight horses, including one Appaloosa mare, two Tinker, two Lusitanos, one K.W.P.N. (Dutch Warmblood), an Arab and a Cartujano. The audience can look forward to many touching moments and magical encounters between man and horse.

His brother Luciano Messina is also part of the European Tour 2019/2020. Sitting on a beautiful Percheron, he shows together with the smallest show stallion in the world a freestyle, which ensures magical moments of surprise
