FAQ’s

General information

EQUILALAND is the perfect day trip destination for young and old. Children of all ages are very welcome. Children may visit the park unsupervised from age 14 and above.

Lost property is collected at the information desk at the entrance. Our team will be happy to help.

Unfortunately we do not have an ATM in EQUILALAND. However, you can get cashback from a card machine at the information desk. Debit card payment is also permitted at the ticket desk, in the restaurant and in the gift shop.

For your own safety and the safety of our for-legged friends there are security checks at the entrance. Dangerous goods like knifes starting with a specific size and weapons are not allowed. Due to the risk of injury for our animals within the park the Apassionata Park München GmbH & Co. KG does not allow glass bottles and irritant substances.

Out of consideration to other visitors to EQUILALAND, smoking is only permitted in the park’s designated smoking areas.

Unfortunately there are currently no lockers or left luggage options in EQUILALAND. You are permitted to take rucksacks and handbags with you.

EQUILALAND – Horse Theme Park Munich – is open to visitors during winter. Please note our detailed opening hours at our website.

You will find gifts, souvenirs, horse accessories and useful items for visiting EQUILALAND in our gift shop and at various stands in the park.

To ensure you have enough time to visit all 11 of our attractions, we recommend setting aside four hours to visit EQUILALAND.

Kids are particularly important to us here at EQUILALAND. Our staff will make every effort to make your visit as comfortable as possible.

To allow you to enjoy a relaxing day with the whole family, children receive a wristband on entry to indicate that they may only leave the park with their parents.

Baby changing facilities are also available for our youngest guests.

Gastronomy

Our visitors are welcome to bring food and drink to the park. There is also a wide range of food and drink options available in our Horse Theme Park Munich.

Unfortunately, visitors are not currently permitted to bring their own food and drink into SHOWPALAST MÜNCHEN auditorium.

A variety of snacks is available at different food points in the park. We also offer selected food and drinks in the SHOWPALAST MÜNCHEN foyer. We’ve got something for every taste: salad options, paninis, pasta, sandwiches, bagels, desserts, soft drinks, beer and wine.

Dogs

Dogs on short leads are very welcome at EQUILALAND. Unfortunately dogs are not permitted inside the attractions. Dogs classed as dangerous by the Bavarian law on dangerous dogs are unfortunately not permitted to enter the park.

A dog kit is available free of charge for dog owners in the entrance area. Other pets are not permitted to enter the park.

Horses

The horses’ well-being is of the utmost importance to us. Furthermore, some of the animals are professionally trained show horses who are used to their riders and are very sensitive. This means that visitors are unfortunately not permitted to ride horses in EQUILALAND. Insurance reasons are also a factor.

Unfortunately visitors are not permitted to feed the horses in EQUILALAND. This is because every horse receives its own special feed and has its own feeding times. We also wish to avoid any potential intolerances to the treats visitors bring. We really care about our horses’ well-being.

Visitors are encouraged to pet the ponies and donkeys in the Pony Farm. In stables such as ‘Our Stars’, where you can learn more about the stars of our show, and ‘Horses of the World’, we ask visitors not to pet the horses. Our guides will explain more.

Our show horses and four-legged friends in the park love the limelight. Visitors are very welcome to take photos of their favourites. Small cameras are no problem – but please don’t use flash! Professional cameras (such as SLRs) and additional larger lenses are not permitted. Photos and videos are only for private use and may not be used for commercial purposes.

Of course, we would be delighted for you to share your visit on social media. We recommend the #equilaland hashtag.
